Parker has been nominated for a Golden Globe in the "Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television" category for her role in the movie Hell on Heels: The Battle of Mary Kay. She faces some tough competition though, the full list of nominees in that category is:

Kim Cattrall "Sex and the City"
Megan Mullally "Will & Grace"
Cynthia Nixon "Sex and the City"
Parker Posey "Hell on Heels: The Battle of Mary Kay"
Gena Rowlands "Hysterical Blindness"

The awards will air this coming Sunday the 19th on NBC. Whether Parker will be there or not is a different question seeing as also happening on the 19th is...

Unfortunately Parker didn't get the nod for the Golden Globe, but just being nominated was a outstanding accomplishment for her. I wish her the best of luck with the "Fifth of July" which starts Wednesday!!
